Now this is something I started doing a couple of summers ago and I love it. Reusing an old book to create a visual journal.

Visual journals combined every type of medium imaginable... Plus whatever info you want! This journal I started for my professional development this year...

I think this is a great project opportunity for high school students. It gives them a chance to express themselves while completing written art assignments.
